My time in the industry is split between agency life and in house life giving me a well rounded perspective of the industry and how to get products to market. Along the way, I’ve spent many hours mentoring engineers and organizing meetups to pass along the knowledge I’ve learned.

I worked as a lead engineer building out the next generation of mobile web apps for movie lovers. My team was in charge of creating a multi-tenant ecosystem while rebranding and internationalizing the current web experience for regalcinemas.com.

I used modern frontend frameworks and WordPress to build engaging websites. As part of the engineering team, I integrated directly with client teams to collaborate on product scope to reduce friction between client and in house communication

In order to increase engagement, I worked directly on rebranding and solidifying the existing brand language to create a consistent theme across the suite of apps.

As a mentor, I was a helping hand during free events Code Connective organized. I presented my talks free to the community and partnered with Code Connective to help bring free resources to those who wanted to grow their career but might not have the resources or means to do so.

As a mentor, I partnered with local schools to teach students valuable coding skills they would use after graduating and entering the professional industry. My team had to collaborate on choosing a project to create, strategizing how to accomplish the project, and work as a team to complete the project in a single semester.
